Tony Carnevale’s Third Album – Originally Released in 1999, Now Remastered and Expanded in 2023

The 2023 extended edition of Tony Carnevale’s third album was created with two key goals in mind: first, to establish the album as a standalone work. Originally, it was released as part of a triple box set alongside Risonanze (1990) and La Vita Che Grida (1995). The three albums formed the soundtrack to the opera of the same name, choreographed by Elisabetta Melchiorri and performed at prestigious venues such as the Cairo Opera House and the Teatro Olimpico in Rome; the second goal is to reunite the piece Incompiuta; this work, initially composed for a choreography by Maria Teresa Dal Medico, had been split into two parts, one featured on this album and the other on La Vita Che Grida. The 2023 edition restores the piece to its original form. The album also includes an original reinterpretation of Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, officially recognized by SIAE. Released on December 16, 2022, as a limited-edition CD, this version offers a richer, more immersive sound experience thanks to analog remastering. This marks the first collaboration between Tony Carnevale and SOUNDTRACK Records.
